Medren Island is located at Enewetak Atoll in the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Medren is one of over 40 islands that received radioactive fallout during the Atomic Test Era.

Enewetak Atoll Atomic Cleanup Mission Veterans who worked on cleaning up radioactive debris and soils on Medren were called Medren Rats

Much appreciation goes to artist Charles L. Owsley who drew caricatures of him and his co-workers on Medren Island!
