  1. I was there from Feb to July 1958, maintenance support for WB-50D aircraft, 57th Weather Recon Sqdn out of Hickam AFB. We sat through several detonations during Operation Hardtack. Some of these A/C returned HOT and had to be decontaminated after a Shot. Lived in 8 man tents located across from the MP shack & end of the runway.
