  1. I remember them giving us a class and they said it was no worse than getting an xray well who gets an exray 24 hours a day for six months. I had three different woman have miscarrages and both of my children have medical issues that i believe were a direct result of being on that island. The people that sent us there knew what was going to happen to us and our children. They were scum and if they are still alive they should be forced to live on lojawa and there kids ands grand kids. We were sent there for one reason to study the long term affects of radiation exposure on the clean up crew themselves. I would like to see the long term affects of a hammer to the heads of everyone in charge of sending us there and their offspring.

  2. My late husband developed a life long cough and developed breathing and lung disease after serving in Enewetak Atoll, Sep 77-Feb 78. He died 5 years ago, suffering multiple problems exacerbated by his Marshall Islands tour. Is he eligible to receive this medal posthumously? It would mean a great deal to me, his widow.
